Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to members of the USS Oregon Detachment March 27, 2023, for their outstanding voluntary service during the 75th annual Toys for Tots Campaign. As volunteers they assisted with picking up and dropping off move than 34,000 toys, spanning over 450 drops sites in the Portland, Ore., area. Their dedication directly helped over 90 charities, donating toys to over 31,000 children.
